Baseball Recap: Palm Desert Triumphs

Palm Desert picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Yorba Linda Mustangs.

Stevie Hutchinson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Gladish, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Palm Desert hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yorba Linda struck out seven times.

The victory got Palm Desert back to even at 2-2. As for Yorba Linda, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Palm Desert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Yucaipa on the 28th. As for Yorba Linda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-5 loss against Citrus Valley on the 28th.
