Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Vermillion two weeks ago, Tri-Valley came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Canton C-Hawks on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the C-Hawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Tri-Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Canton work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 26-24, 15-25, 25-13.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Canton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will square off against Madison at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canton, they will challenge Sioux Falls Lutheran on Thursday.
