Football Recap: Oakmont Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Ocean Mu?oz and Elijah Stevens + How To Watch

Oakmont was the 28-7 winner over Lincoln when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Vikings and the Fighting Zebras didn't end well, with the Vikings falling 49-31.

Oakmont's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elijah Stevens, who threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and Ocean Mu?oz, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one score.

While passing duties were split, you can't argue with the impact Mason Volzer and Eli Duff both made on the matchup. Volzer gained 135 total yards and four touchdowns while Duff threw for 236 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Duff a new career-high in rushing yards (70).

Oakmont now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lincoln, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakmont will take on St. Genevieve at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Valiants' defense has only allowed 9.6 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln, they will challenge Center at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
