Basketball Game Preview: Mountain Empire Redhawks vs. High Tech NC Raptor

Mountain Empire hasn't had much luck against High Tech NC recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Mountain Empire Redhawks will head out on the road to take on the High Tech NC Raptor at 6:30 p.m.

Mountain Empire is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 54-27 loss at the hands of High Tech NC. The contest marked the Redhawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Mountain Empire saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chance Ross posted 11 points.

High Tech NC is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points per game. As for Mountain Empire, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
