Basketball Recap: Hatley Comes Up Short

Hatley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 57-44 to the Hamilton Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-30 back in December of 2025.

Hatley's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Hamilton, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hatley is set to challenge their familiar foe Walnut at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hamilton will square off against rival New Site at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
