Volleyball Recap: Window Rock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Window Rock had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 17-9 to make it four. They fell just short of the Tuba City Warriors by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Saturday.

Kourtney Bitselley paced Window Rock's offense, picking up 18 kills. Bitselley got some help from Catelin James and her 25 assists. Ryleigh Owens controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Tuba City, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9-1 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 6th.

Tuba City found their leader in freshman Alyssa Blackhat, who had 22 digs. Those 22 digs set a new season-high mark for Blackhat.

Window Rock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Chinle on the 21st. As for Tuba City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Ganado on the 21st.
