Basketball Recap: Charleston Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lamar, Charleston was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 51-43 win over the Lavaca Golden Arrows. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-32 back in December of 2024.

Charleston's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Lavaca, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Charleston will host Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Charleston surely won't give up without a fight. Lavaca has already played their next match (against Paris), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
