Greenbrier won the last time they faced Effingham County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Greenbrier Wolfpack walked away with a 58-47 victory over the Effingham County Rebels.

Effingham County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nakera M Hawkins, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 15 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyjana Jordan, who posted 12 points.

Greenbrier's record is now 9-15. As for Effingham County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.

Coming up, Greenbrier will square off against South Effingham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenbrier is facing South Effingham at the right time seeing as South Effingham is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Effingham County, they will challenge Glynn Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
