Basketball Recap: Stringtown Extends Road Winning Streak to Ten

Stringtown won the last time they faced Colbert and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stringtown Tigers enjoyed a cozy 46-31 win over the Colbert Leopards. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Leopards are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Stringtown pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.4 points per game. As for Colbert, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Stringtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Boswell on the 8th. As for Colbert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-20 victory against Caney on the 8th.
