Volleyball Recap: East River Takes a Loss

East River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Winter Park Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

East River took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-20.

East River's record now sits at 4-19. As for Winter Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

East River and Winter Park are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Falcons will face off against Lyman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Winter Park, they will challenge University at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
