Soccer Recap: Chesterton Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Illiana Christian

There's no place like home for Chesterton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Illiana Christian Vikings a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Chesterton were the better team in the second half.

Zarek Sierazy and Tyler Hecimovich scored both of Chesterton's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Chesterton back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Chesterton will take on La Porte at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give Chesterton their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Illiana Christian, they will face off against Hobart at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
