Prairie wins going away against Liberty

Recap: Prairie Hawks vs. Liberty Lightning

The Prairie Hawks won against the Liberty Lightning last Tuesday with 71 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Prairie enjoyed a cozy 71-52 victory over Liberty. The win was nothing new for Prairie as they're now sitting on three straight.

Several Lightning players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trey Hughes, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Kampman, who scored seven points.

Prairie's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Prairie will be playing at home against Dubuque Senior on Monday. Prairie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 489 points over their last seven matchups. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to square off against Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty is facing Washington at the right time seeing as Washington is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
