Volleyball Game Preview: Sahuarita Mustangs vs. Flowing Wells Caballeros

The Sahuarita Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Flowing Wells Caballeros at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sahuarita took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on Amphitheater with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Flowing Wells was able to grind out a solid victory over Pueblo on Monday, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-19, 16-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Flowing Wells' win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Sahuarita, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Sahuarita took their victory against Flowing Wells in their previous matchup back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
