Baseball Recap: Maine South Comes Up Short

Maine South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Deerfield Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-2 loss on Tuesday.

Maine South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Adamczewski, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Maine South's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Deerfield, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Coming up, Maine South will head out on the road to take on Normal West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Deerfield, they will host Crystal Lake Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
