Flag Football Game Preview: Calvary Day Cavaliers vs. Portal Panthers

The Calvary Day Cavaliers will challenge the Portal Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Calvary Day 13, Portal 3.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Calvary Day's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Beach 32-0. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 24 points or more this season.

Calvary Day's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Hephzibah Wilson with three sacks.

Meanwhile, Portal strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down Lakeside 19-0.

Calvary Day's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Portal, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Calvary Day strolled past Portal when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 19-0. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
