Softball Recap: Pike County Central Comes Up Short

Pike County Central lost to Belfry back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks lost 12-2 to the Pirates.

Pike County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-23-1. As for Belfry, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Pike County Central will challenge Pikeville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belfry, they will venture away from home to square off against Prestonsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blackcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.89 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of.
