Soccer Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Brooks County

While Brooks County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Echols County Wildcats on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Hillary Galvez and Alex Herrera scored all three of Brooks County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Brooks County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Echols County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Brooks County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-2 loss against Lanier County on the 27th. As for Echols County, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Irwin County on the 4th.
