The timing is sure in Union Grove Christian's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Vandalia Christian has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, Union Grove Christian ended up a good deal behind Triad Baptist Christian Academy and lost 56-40.

Meanwhile, Vandalia Christian lost to Alamance Christian on the road by a 58-42 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 631st, while the Warriors are ranked 121st).

Vandalia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Union Grove Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-5.

Union Grove Christian and Vandalia Christian were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but Union Grove Christian came up empty-handed after a 57-56 loss. Can Union Grove Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
