Forest Hills dropped their record down to 12-5 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-1 to the Bellefonte Raiders. The game marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Chase Williamson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run.

As for Bellefonte, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8. That looming 13-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

On Bellefonte's side, Peyton Vancas made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Vancas has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.

In other pitching news, Triston Heeman looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Bellefonte got a massive performance out of Evan Mattern, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. Mattern has become a key player for the Raiders: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Oliver Thornburg was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

Forest Hills has already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against West Shamokin on the 19th. As for Bellefonte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Juniata on the 20th.
