Volleyball Recap: Western Plains Comes Up Short

Western Plains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Golden Plains Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss last Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16.

Western Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Golden Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11-1 record this season.

Western Plains didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Weskan on the 11th. As for Golden Plains, they have also already played their next contest, a 0-0 tie against Logan on the 11th.
