Baseball Recap: Alta Loma Takes a Loss

Alta Loma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the San Dimas Saints.

Alta Loma saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Zandbergen, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Alta Loma's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for San Dimas, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Coming up, Alta Loma is taking a road trip to challenge Summit at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The SkyHawks will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Dimas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Colony at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
