Volleyball Recap: Eastmark's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Eastmark had lost six matches on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 3-7 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Poston Butte Broncos as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Firebirds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

As for Poston Butte, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 24th.

Poston Butte's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aracely Pi?a, who had six digs and two aces, and Milana Thiel, who had nine digs and two assists. Evoleht Ledezma also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
