This is the second loss in a row for Erath and nudges their season record down to 25-14-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Sterlington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 23 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-8 record this season.
