Basketball Recap: Lamar Takes a Loss

Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-38 loss at the hands of Nevada. The matchup marked Lamar's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Nevada, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lamar will face off against rival Aurora at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nevada is set to challenge their familiar foe Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
