Volleyball Recap: Rossford Bulldogs vs. Eastwood Eagles
Rossford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Eastwood Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 1st.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-9.
Sadie St. Mary paced Rossford's offense, picking up five kills. St. Mary got some help from
Sophia Shinavar and her nine assists. St. Mary was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Rossford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Eastwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
Rossford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Genoa Area on the 22nd.
