Amory came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Itawamba Agricultural Indians as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Amory not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Itawamba Agricultural between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Itawamba Agricultural saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caylee Beasley had 11 digs.

The win got Amory back to even at 6-6. As for Itawamba Agricultural, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.

Amory wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Houston on the 11th. After both having extra time off, Itawamba Agricultural and Mooreville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
