Basketball Recap: Springville's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After only 24 points in their last game, Springville made sure to put some points up on the board against St. Clair County on Tuesday. The Springville Tigers enjoyed a cozy 60-43 win over the St. Clair County Fighting Saints. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 293rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Springville's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for St. Clair County, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Springville will host Corner at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Clair County has already played their next matchup (against Jacksonville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
