Basketball Recap: Alex Trejo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Wray over Ulysses

Wray saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost to the Ulysses Tigers on the road by a 64-48 margin.

Wray's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Trejo, who posted 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Trejo has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Parra, who earned 14 points.

Wray now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ulysses, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Wray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-60 defeat against Colby on the 12th. Ulysses has also already played their next matchup (against Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
