Basketball Recap: DuQuoin Takes a Loss

DuQuoin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 54-31 to the Sesser-Valier/Waltonville Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-39 back in November of 2024.

DuQuoin's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

As of now, neither DuQuoin nor Sesser-Valier/Waltonville have any future games scheduled.
