Baseball Recap: Southwest Legacy Comes Up Short

Southwest Legacy was the 5-4 winner over Winn when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Southwest Legacy Titans took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winn Mavericks on Tuesday. Titans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mavericks since on Tuesday.

Southwest Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Winn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Southwest Legacy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 defeat against Brennan on the 12th. As for Winn, they will head out to challenge McCollum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
