Basketball Recap: Coleman Comes Up Short

Coleman's last matchup with Caney could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Coleman Wildcats had to suffer through a 60-33 loss at the hands of the Caney Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost six in a row.

Coleman's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Caney, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Coleman will be playing in front of their home fans against Boswell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boswell will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Coleman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Caney, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Caney Cougars challenge the Stringtown Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caney is facing Stringtown at the right time seeing as Stringtown is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
