Volleyball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Kaleigh Kirk paced Parkview's offense, picking up six kills. Kirk got some help from Kyra Cannon and her 11 assists. Samara Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 0-25-1. As for Springfield Catholic, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 2-28 record.

Parkview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springfield Catholic, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Webb City on the 22nd.
