Volleyball Recap: Carmel Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Lee Park Prep on Thursday, Carmel Christian came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Weddington Warriors on Monday. The Cougars have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Carmel Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Weddington's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-22.

Carmel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Weddington, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Carmel Christian will head out to take on Wesleyan Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weddington, they will square off against Porter Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
