Volleyball Game Preview: Cienega Bobcats vs. Tanque Verde Hawks

The Cienega Bobcats will square off against the Tanque Verde Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Cienega got the win against Flowing Wells by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Caballeros: they've now won eight in a row.

Cienega never let Flowing Wells on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-17.

Addison Hirschberg was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Alexandria LeMaster, who had ten assists and seven digs.

Meanwhile, Tanque Verde made easy work of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Tanque Verde's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Cienega, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
