Pecatonica waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the West Carroll Thunder by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lexi Diedrich paced Pecatonica's offense, picking up six kills. Diedrich got some help from Sophie Fitzanko and her four assists. Brianna Carden controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why West Carroll lost, don't look at Danica Eizenga. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two assists.

Pecatonica's win bumped their record up to 16-14. As for West Carroll, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
