Basketball Game Preview: Federal Way Eagles vs. Prairie Falcons

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles challenge the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Federal Way knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Prairie likes a good challenge.

Last Wednesday, Federal Way didn't have too much trouble with Silas as they won 64-50. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Prairie didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lakes on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 66-61 win.

Federal Way pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
