Soccer Recap: Victor Comes Up Short

Victor fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Penfield on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Victor have lost by just one goal.

Victor is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Penfield, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Coincidentally, Victor and Penfield will both be playing Rush-Henrietta the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will head out to face the Royal Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Blue Devils will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
