League recap: Valor Christian tops Palmer to extend winning streak

Valor Christian extended the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Palmer, 58-7. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Valor Christian took down the Terrors 58-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Luke Del Rio threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 10 yards in the win.

Brent Vieselmeyer's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Gabriel Watkins chipped in 46 yards. Levi Waddell helped Valor Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.

Chaz Polson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Eagles bested Palmer. Polson tallied four receptions for 58 yards.

Valor Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Del Rio has thrown for 1210 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Alex Ulmer has 26 catches for 365 yards. Christian McCaffrey leads the league in rushing with 593 yards.

Valor Christian led Freelance in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on Justin Rich's team. Del Rio in the win.
