Softball Recap: Cascade Cadets vs. Northview Knights
Cascade had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Northview on Wednesday. The Cadets put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 11-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Cadets, who have now won three games in a row.
Tara Gruca and Grace Parks did most of the damage at the plate: Gruca went 3-for-4 with two triples and four RBI, while Parks went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
