Volleyball Recap: Central Mountain's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Central Mountain unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the West Branch Warriors by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

Central Mountain actually scored more points across those five sets (102-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 15-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-11.

Central Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for West Branch, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-2-2.

Central Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Branch, they will take on Southern Huntingdon County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
