Basketball Game Preview: Elba Lancers vs. Kendall Eagles

Elba is on a five-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Kendall a three-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Elba Lancers will host the Kendall Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Elba came up into this matchup off a tough 36-point defeat two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Byron-Bergen by a score of 53-50 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Kendall ended up a good deal behind Global Concepts last Monday and lost 53-39.

Kendall's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Elba, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Elba came up short against Kendall in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 57-52. Can Elba avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
