Baseball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

After flying high against Battle on Friday, Liberty came back down to earth. Liberty fell just short of the Pattonville Pirates by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. Pattonville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will take on Fort Zumwalt North at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pattonville, they will host Parkway Central at 4:15 p.m. on the 31st.
