Ottawa Hills took a six-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Kent City, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bengals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 3-2. For Ottawa Hills, this counts as revenge for the 6-0 victory Kent City walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

With the win, Ottawa Hills broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9. As for Kent City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
