Football Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Franklin extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-3. They took a 26-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McNair Eagles. The Yellowjackets lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-0 score last time.

Miguel Pulido threw for 71 yards on six of 17 attempts. On the ground, Aiden Rackley rushed for 29 yards and one score.

As for McNair, their win bumped their record up to 2-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Corey Waters produced another solid effort picking up 118 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 56 yards. Another player making a difference was Shawn San, who threw for 103 yards and three TDs.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will challenge rival Chavez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McNair is set to square off against their familiar foe West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
