Football Game Preview: Michigan Center Cardinals vs. Grass Lake Warriors + How To Watch

The Michigan Center Cardinals will head out to challenge the Grass Lake Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Michigan Center will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Michigan Center gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They secured a 36-32 W over Leslie. The 36-point effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Michigan Center got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braylon Brown out in front who picked up 71 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 52 yards and one TD. Brown was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 64 yards. Another player making a difference was Hadyn Hinkle, who rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Michigan Center was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 203 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leslie only rushed for nine.

Meanwhile, Grass Lake came up short against Napoleon on Friday, falling 30-6. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Grass Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Michigan Center, their record is now 5-0.

Michigan Center didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Grass Lake in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 33-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
