Basketball Recap: Southwestern Comes Up Short

Southwestern lost against Fennimore last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Southwestern Wildcats fell 57-50 to the Fennimore Golden Eagles. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwestern's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Fennimore, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

Southwestern will challenge Mineral Point at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fennimore, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Darlington at 7:30 p.m. Fennimore knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Darlington likes a good challenge.
