Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-2. As for North Buncombe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Black Hawks beat Franklin by a score of 3-1 later that day.
