Basketball Game Preview: Mead Raiders vs. Palmyra Panthers

The Mead Raiders will face off against the Palmyra Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mead will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Monday, Mead ended up a good deal behind Osceola and lost 36-19.

Meanwhile, Palmyra lost to Douglas County West on the road by a 46-28 margin on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Falcon recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Palmyra now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Mead, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Mead took a serious blow against Palmyra in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 69-10. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Mead was down 39-8.
