The Owen Valley Patriots will head out on the road to square off against the Monrovia Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Meanwhile, Monrovia sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Friday.
Brayton Belcher made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Belcher was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with a home run.
