Football Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Legacy

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the Legacy Lions 28-14.

A big part of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's win came down to the chemistry between Rico Buitrago and his top target Aaron Raines. Buitrago threw for 258 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes while Raines picked up 175 receiving yards and two scores. Raines was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 65 yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Titusville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy, they will venture away from home to face off against Olympic Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
